Hello from sunny Woodford. South Manchester for all you non-North-Westernites.
Sent here for the day by work, but all I do is watch some guy do some stuff on a computer and offer sage advice, "Don't wear brown shoes with a dinner jacket", that sort of thing.
OK, what else? Played CS again last night. Played pretty well. Started to watch "Who Dares Wins" and "Nightmare on Elm Street 2" but couldn't be arsed. Did watch that munter Jade try to get into bed with PJ though on Big Brother ;-)
Music-wise, heard the new Sugerbabes single this morning, and, I'm sorry to say, it's great. It's called Round and Round and they have produced another No1 I think. It comes out in July.
Also, "I would die 4 U" by Space Cowboy, Sara Cox's Record of the Week a couple of weeks ago, was released on Monday. It's a belting tune but unfortunately will not chart this Sunday as the record company have included too many tracks, making it fall into the 'budget album' category. Sickener.
Listened to more of that As Heard On Radio Soulwax Pt 2 album this morning in the car. Still great. ALso want to get hold of more bootlegs this weekend, esp some of the Kylie stuff. Don't forget to pop along to www.base58.com/booms/ for the latest news.

OK, loads more music to listen to, still waiting for my Oakley Bottlecaps to arrive (grrr), gonna buy a new CD walkman this weekend so I can Radio Soulwax on the walk to work ;-)

Later.

Well, it’s been a while since I last updated.
A group of 13 of us went to Edinburgh for the weekend. Stayed at the Dreghorn link Travelodge. Arrived on Friday, went into town around 6:30 and had a great night around the Grassmarket area.
Saturday, breakfast at the Little Chef across the way, then into town around lunch-time. Went to the Castle and the Camera Obscura, both well worth a visit then had a wander around some of the shops etc.
Saturday night we went out early again, couple of beers then off to a Chinese and more beers. Ended up on Rose St. Went to the Standing Order, pretty cool pub, then ended in “all bar one” on George St.
So, great night was had by all, loads of beer and ending up with about a pint of vodka and tonic ;-)
Bloody taxis though? What is it with taxis in Edinburgh? Jeeezsus, took us about an hour to get one.

Anyway, what else? Installed my GF4 128M graphics card on Monday, absolute doddle. Played Q3A and CS recently, my CS game is improving again ;-)

Will update tomorrow or Friday.
